Losing Heart is about a woman – Helen – with a serious, life-threatening heart condition who is lucky enough to receive a donor heart just as she feels time is about to run out. I wrote and illustrated “The Girl and the Moon” after a late winters walk in our local park with my daughter- then aged four- furiously scooting.
